With 27 years of experience in the furniture industry and associated industries, the company aim to offer the customer the most technological tool.
We make it our business to visit the productions plant/s of our suppliers abroad. This ensures that the products we sell to our customers come out of factories that implement high quality standards and have good systems in place to maintain the same product over a long period of time. For this reason we can offer our selection at competitive prices to the end user or a distributor, and maintain the same level of quality.
SA Sawblades offer a service on the products we sell and is an innovation leader of systems in servicing of tools, extending the cutting life of the saw blade, cutter or tool. We understand the needs of our customers and how the tool is used in the workplace.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Walter Booyens has completed a Cabinet making apprenticeship at Gordon Fraser Pty Ltd and qualified in 1997.
1993 he was awarded Cabinet maker of the year and won the South African skill competition in Cabinetmaking.
1994 Walter was chosen to represent South Africa as a cabinetmaker at Youth Skills Olympics at Lyon France.
1996 Gordon Fraser purchased the first 5 axis CNC machine for chair manufacturing and send Walter to Pade, Italy to learn this software and machine.
1996 Walter completed his diploma in Engineering Draughting. In 1999 he joined a well known Machine dealer for the furniture industry as technical sales person and learned to install and service most of the machines he sold.
2005 – Walter established a furniture manufacturing factory called Niche Joinery. This was one of the few firms in Pretoria that did its own in-house veneering. The firm was well known for the highest quality furniture and was appointed several flagship projects. During this time Walter also assisted with the establishment of Leitz Tooling Systems in South Africa. Walter realised the need for a quality tooling supplier in South Africa.
In 2018 Walter opened the doors of SA SawBlades, a quality tooling supplier to the industry, with professional advice and assistance based on the owners professional experience and knowledge in the industry.
